Prof. M.I. Daabo
Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim Daabo (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and the Dean of the School of Computing and Information Systems, C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo. He holds PhD and MSc degrees in Computational Mathematics and BSc degree in Computer Science from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana.
He has taught various courses across four (4) Tertiary Institutions within the domains of Computer Science and Mathematics and their related areas and has supervised and mentored more than Two hundred (200) undergraduate students in the field of computing and mathematics, four (4) MSc students and six (6) PhD students, and he is currently supervising two (2) PhD students in Sensor Networks, and data security.
He has conducted academic research in the fields of Overflow Detection and Correction, Data conversion, Error Detection and Correction all in the field RNS, Data Security and Epidemiological Modeling that resulted into over forty (40) research publications in peer review journals and conference proceedings. His current research areas include Computer Arithmetic, Residue Number System, Digital Logic Design, Data Security and Mathematical Modeling.
