Prof. M.I. DAABO
Prof. Mohammed I. Daabo (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor and the founding dean of the School of Computing and Information Sciences, C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo. He holds Ph.D. and MSc degrees in Computational Mathematics and BSc degree in Computer Science from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana.
He has taught various courses across the domains of mathematics and computer science and their related areas and has supervised and mentored more than a hundred (100) undergraduate students in various fields, two (2) MSc students and four (4) Ph.D. students, and he is currently supervising three Ph.D. students in satellite communication, Sensor Networks, and data security.
He has conducted academic research in the fields of Overflow Detection and Correction in RNS, Data conversion, Error Detection and Correction in RNS, and Epidemiological Modeling that resulted in over thirty (30) research publications in peer review journals and conference proceedings. His current research areas include Computer Arithmetic, Residue Number System, Digital Logic Design, Data Security, and Mathematical Modeling.
