Prof. Edward Yellakuor Baagyere Dean, SCIS
Prof. Edward Yellakuor Baagyere is an Associate Professor and the Dean of the School of Computing and Information Sciences, C.K Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
He received the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (Hons.) in Computer Science from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana, in 2006, the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.). degree in Computer Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, in 2011, and the Doctor of Engineering (DEng) degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2016.
He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Information and Software Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from December 2016 – June 2021. He conducted and supervised various research work in the field of Machine/Deep Learning, Network Science, Quantum Teleportation, Sensor Networks, Residue Network Systems & Applications and Network Security among others.
He has successfully supervised three (3) PhD students, one Postgraduate Diploma student and several Bachelor degree students. Prof. Baagyere has over forty (40) publications in peer review journals and conference proceedings, most of which are indexed by high raking journals. He has served as external examiner/assessor and reviewer to institutions and journals, respectively.
His current research interests include machine/deep learning, mobile sensor networks, information security, cryptography, and social networks. He is a paid-up member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG)
